The idea for this podcast came from this recent publication

Innovation Through Collaboration: Creation of a Combined Emergency and Internal Medicine Point-of-Care Ultrasound Fellowship

(J Ultrasound Med Aug 2019)

Nova Panebianco and Cameron Baston, authors on this publication, share their insights and thoughts not only on how to develop a combined emergency medicine and internal medicine fellowship program but also a general vision for how together we can work better.

The goals of our conversation were:

  • Discuss this article and identify pointers/pitfalls for developing an EM/IM fellowship

  • Discuss inter-specialty ultrasound collaboration opportunities in general (academic, research, clinical, research)
